Woody, Buzz and the whole gang are back. Vikram (Amjad Khan) is arrested for possession of drugs, but claims that he was framed by Rajan (Sujit Kumar), his associate, but no one believes him. Desperately he turns to his lawyer friend, Vikram, only to have himself prosecuted at his very hands. Vikram gets sentenced, and upon his release goes to Amit and asks him to negotiate to get him his share of their former business from Rajan. Amit agrees to do so, but the negotiation gets bitter, argument ensues, followed by fisticuffs and use of firearms, which lead to the death of Rajan. It is now Amit's turn to be on the run from the law, as his pleas that he acted in self-defense are ignored, and there is no one to turn to for help. Amit's pregnant wife, Janki, asks him to run away somewhere safe, while she re-locates to another city until his file is closed or set aside. Amit runs to nearby Nepal, while Janki gives birth to twins. Unfortunately, for her the twins and her get separated. She does manage to find Shankar, but there is no trace of Guru. With one son missing, her husband on the run from the law, and having to take care of an infant, how will Janki overcome life's odds on her own?

The Kapoors are a wealthy family. There is grandpa Kapoor; Grandma Kapoor; their son Kailashnath Kapoor, and his daughter Ashi. As Ashi has come of age, the Kapoors are now on the look-out for a suitable groom. They meet with the Malhotras, as Mr. Malhotra has been a childhood friend of Kailashnath, and his wife. Their son, Rohit Malhotra, has also come of age, and they would like to marry Ashi with Rohit. Kailashnath tells his parents about this, and they all approve of the match. Ashi is very headstrong and wants to check out Rohit, and she travels to Switerland, where Rohit has a garment business. There she meets with Bobby Oberoi, and mistakes him for Rohit Malhotra. Bobby and Ashi fall in love with each other. Bobby makes a clean breast of the misunderstanding. The Kapoors meet with Bobby's mom, Gayetri Oberoi (Beena), and a marriage date is set. Shortly before the marriage, the Police investigate a large sum of money by Kailashnath. Gayetri, who is a bank manager, is approached by the Police, and she co-operates with them. Kailashnath is arrested. This angers Kailashnath and he cancels their marriage, and announces that Ashi will marry Rohit instead.

A wealthy and cruel businessman, Bhaktawar lord over a dockyard making all the workers his slaves. All the workers will work but no one will entail a salary, the union leader Tiger opposes this and protests and is eventually silenced by Bhaktawar. Tiger is unable to take any drastic step against Bhaktawar because Pratab, Tiger's dad is Bhaktawar bodyguard. Taking advantage of Tiger weakness, Bhaktawar eventually murder Pratab publicly thus enraged Tiger who eventually murder Bhaktawar, setting the dockyard on fire and escape from the police. Years later Tiger is now known as Shekhar, a respected man with two brothers Kumar and Vijay. Tiger must now ensure that his past life is buried and ensnared a bight future for his two brothers. Bhaktawar decides to bump off Tiger, but accidentally kills his parents instead, leaving Tiger to care for his two little step-brothers alone. The corrupt police inspector, Giridhar, takes advantage of this situation and, intending to steal Bhaktawar's fortune, frames Tiger for killing Bhaktawar's family before himself arresting Bhaktawar, thus ensuring that there will be no one to complain when he takes the money for himself. The story then picks up 15 years later: Tiger has changed his name to Shekhar and lives in the country with his two brothers, who are both adults now and one of whom is even married. Jumma, whom he was forced to leave in order to flee with his brothers, has become a famous actress and is still waiting for Tiger to come back to her. Inspector Giridhar has become rich from Bhaktawar's stolen fortune. And also, Bhaktawar himself has just been released from jail, and he wants revenge on the man he thinks murdered his family -- Tiger.

Then Shashi returns home, meets with Julie, agrees to marry her immediately, talks to his mother, Devki, who does give her consent but first wants to meet with Julie. After the meeting, Julie departs, refuses to speak with Shashi. When Shashi goes to her home to talk to her, Margaret shuts the door in his face. What could have possibly gone wrong during the meeting between Devki and Julie?
